By Oluwatoyin Luqman Bolakale.

Posterity shall judge me if I fail to acknowledge and commend the quintessential personality of this Ilorin born Amazon in person of Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.

Having defied all odds and proven to all and sundry her capabilities to Serve beyond the women constituency, she has however emerged as a quintessential Amazon of this age in Kwara who has excelled above her peers towards her contributions beyond the walls of the women community in Kwara State.

She played a key role towards the eradication of political apathy and sentiments within the folds of women folks in Kwara which has however brought the women community of Kwara to the light in terms of political participation and inclusiveness.

We were at a certain point in Kwara where the women entities are being regarded as a mere tool of the kitchen but Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu through her numerous interventions and public enlightenment campaigns has saved a lot of Kwara women from this mentality of modernized slavery.

Surely, you will agree with me that posterity shall judge me if I fail to commend and acknowledged her motherly role in Kwara Women’s society.

I’m hereby using this medium to felicitate and celebrate with her on the occasion of her birthday anniversary thereby thanking her for all she has done.
