We’re Winning Through Ballot, Not Online – Cook Olododo

The Social Democratic Party Candidate for Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, who is also the incumbent member representing the Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Ganiyu Saka Cook Olododo has reacted to an online poll, predicting his rival from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Wahab Issa would win 2023 elections for the constituency.

In a statement by the Director, Media and Publicity of Olododo’s Campaign Organization, Ibrahim Sheriff (Gold), in Ilorin on Monday, Olododo said “While we congratulate the opposition candidate on his ‘Online poll victory’, among less than 1% of the total voting population of Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, most of whom are likely not eligible voters in our constituency, we wish to emphatically reinstate that the resolve of the people of Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency to stick with passionate and quality representation provided by Olododo for the next four (4) years remains unwavering.

“This is evident in our ongoing pre-campaign consultation feedbacks, where critical stakeholders in Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency are already unequivocally registering their buy-ins and endorsement to the second term bid of Olododo, hinging their decision on the imperative of continuing quality representation of Olododo, beyond 2023.

“From empowering farmers with the novel green house farming scheme and facilitation of solar tent driers, shea butter production equipments among other sustainable empowerment to his constituents, to lighting up several communities with facilitation of no fewer than 1,000 streetlights, provision of hundreds of motorized boreholes and construction/renovation of several classrooms, closely numbering up to the ones being flaunted by the woefully performing APC-Kwara state government, Olododo has distinguished himself as a standard bearer.

“It is imperative to state that Olododo has been the filler of good governance out of the glaring gaps created by the antagonistic and egoistic APC administration in the State.

The statement added that “The good governance loving people of Kwara State and especially Ilorin South/East Federal constituency have seen the long awaited and anticipated dividends of democracy like never before and thus, have been unanimous and unequivocal in standing with continuity of a pro-people representation.

“Therefore, they’ve resolved to spare no effort in ensuring the return of Hon. AbdulGaniy Cook Olododo back to the green chamber, through the ballot, come February, 2023.”
