President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is billed to attend the University of Ilorin 37th and 38th combined convocation of the University of Ilorin.

This much was disclosed by the Vice-Chancellor of the Institution, Prof. Wahab Egbewole at the Media parley heralding the commencement of the institution’s convocation.

Egbewole said “The Visitor, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is billed to commission no fewer than 15 projects which included lecture rooms, Faculty and Departmental buildings among others” he added.

Giving details of the ready for commissioning infrastructures, Egbewole said “Faculty of Basic and Clinical Science Building, Advancement Centre Building, Department of Anatomy building, Extension of University Clinic, Department of Chemical Engineering Building, Faculty of Engineering 400-seater capacity studio, Faculty of Engineering 500-seater capacity lecture theatre 1 and 2.

Others include “Construction of four (4) bedroom apartment for (cones) & perimeter block wall fence, Asphalt overlay on the existing road from University gate to Senate building phases (1 and 2), Asphalt overlay on existing road from University main campus to University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (phase 5), Asphalt overlay on the road at UNILORIN GRA Staff Quarters, construction of road from NOC to faculty of Art and Law and Construction of road to the University Primary School” he stressed
