S. O. Foundation, a non-governmental organization championed by Alhaji Rilwan Sulyman Olawale, has launched the second phase of the S.O.F Scholarship for indigent Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary School 1 (JSS & SSS1) students in Ilorin South Local government area of Kwara State, extending across various public schools in the state capital.
In his statement , Alhaji Rilwan Sulyman Olawale noted that the first phase of the scholarship program, implemented in September 2025, benefited over 700 JSS2 and SS2 indigent students. He emphasized that his foundation aims to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Kwara State Government under the leadership of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON, in reforming the standard of education sector.
“This initiative seeks to support less privileged students in various communities, believing that improving the standard of education will lead to a better future for the students and the future of society, as education today means the betterment of tomorrow”, he said.
Olawale added that the eligible students for this second phase program is open to less privileged students actively enrolled in public schools.
The S.O.F Scholarship Program aligns with S.O. Foundation’s commitment to empowering less privileged students and promoting educational development in Kwara State.
