President Buhari, Osinbajo to take COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday

President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo will on Saturday, receive the COVID-19 vaccines publicly.

This was disclosed by the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaib today at a news conference in Abuja.

He said the agency would launch the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign on Friday at the National Hospital, Abuja, with Frontline health workers to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine first.

He added that, on Saturday, the plan is to Vaccinate the President, Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and strategic leaders, to demonstrate vaccine safety to the public.
