OPINION: Kwara North 2023: Hon. Adamu Isa Bawa, the man the job needs

Hon. Adamu Isa Bawa, The Man with Best Experience to Represent Kwara North at the Red Chamber come 2023. He hails from Kpandu house, Gbesare Compound Kaiama, a royal family in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.

When we talk of having what it takes to be a senator in Nigeria, Hon. Adamu Isa Bawa has the capacity, the ability, the experience, the political instinct and knowhow to run a Democratic obligation as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

A grassroot Politician, who has served in different capacities, a man full of wisdom and experience needed to be the Senator representing Kwara North at the Senate in 2023.

To show his wealth of experience in governance and leadership capabilities; Bawa was once elected Councillor of his ward, and then as local government party chairman, he discharged his functions satisfactorily on each occasion. He was appointed Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State, then later appointed as Commissioner for Rural Development. He is a one time, Deputy Chairman. Kwara State PDP while he also acted as The State Chairman. He is also a former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. He is presently serving as a board member of the National Hospital Abuja and National Ex-Officio in the NEC of PDP.

Hon. Adamu Isa Bawa has given back to his community through facilitation of several rural electrification projects to many communities in the state, provision of rural roads to most communities in kwara state, facilitation of some projects in Kaiama community, which includes; drilling of boreholes, provision of medical infrastructure at the General Hospital and Primary Health Care Centers.

In the area of employment opportunities, Hon Bawa was instrumental to securing employment for some youths, particularly in Kwara North; recently, about 15 brilliant youths got jobs at federal government parastatals with his assistance.

Over the last 20 years, Hon Bawa has been supporting youths through various types of empowerment schemes where many youths cutting across the state have benefited, this is a value addition in the course of his political career.

A lot of youths also benefitted from his educational schloarship assistance program which targeted the orphans and vulnerable. This good gesture has been commended by many who are benficiaries and who believe that this program shows the humanitarian nature of Hon Bawa.

His respect for traditional and religious leaders in the state and the Kwara North in particular is second to none. He was instrumental to support given to the traditional rulers while he held forth in the ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. He assisted with many grading and upgrading of several traditional rulers. He holds in high esteem the traditional and religious leaders and would always do whatever it takes to preserve and support these institutions to achieve their constitutional and desired purposes.

Hon Adamu Isa Bawa, a politician of repute who believes that assistance to his people should not always be publicised, and is ready to do more if given the opportunity come 2023 to represent the good of people of Kwara North in the Senate.

He is a trustworthy individual who gives a listening ear to people, has respect for all, is ready to go an extra mile to give his people the best representation they have been yearning for. Hon. Adamu Isa Bawa is steadfast and committed to the principles of justice, equity and fairness, which are what guides him in relating with people.

His emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kwara North Senatorial Candidate for the 2023 election is a sign of good things to come for his people. Surely better days are ahead for Kwara North, insha Allah.
