Olododo to commission 2.3km electrification projects in Ilorin East and South communities

The constituency office of Hon. (Dr) Abdulganiyu Saka Cook-Olododo, member representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly is set to commission 2.3 km electrification/transformers in three communities of Ilorin East and South local governments.

A statement issued by the Legislative Aide to the lawmaker, Kamardeen Aderibigbe, said “in a bid to surmount the challenges of power supply in communities of Ilorin East and South local governments, three transformers facilitated by Hon. (Dr) Abdulganiyu Saka Cook-Olododo and already installed would be commissioned on Tuesday, 16th May, 2023.

“The benefitting communities include Itesiwaju-Reese community, off Akerebiata, Harmony Road, Imam Hamzat College of Education area, off Okoolwo Express way and Ode -Baraje, Kankatu Area, Okelele, Ilorin.

“The commissioning, which holds tomorrow is will hold at the various project sites between 10am and 12pm”, the statement added.

It can be recalled that Olododo has in the last one month, commissioned various projects within Ilorin East/South Federal constituency, among which are roads, school and police station/quarters construction projects.

It can also be recalled that within the last 4years of his representation, Olododo has successfully light up hundred of communities with facilitation of over 1,000 solar power streetlights, provided portable water for several communities and varying degrees of digital and economic empowerment of thousands of his constituents.
