Member representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and Chairman House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, Hon. (Dr) Abdulganiyu Saka Cook Olododo has congratulate Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as he emerge victorious in his reelection bid.
In a statement signed by the Director Media and Publicity of Olododo’s Campaign Council, Ibrahim Sheriff, the lawmaker described AbdulRazaq’s victory as ‘deserving’.
“On behalf of my family, supporters and well wishers, I congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara state, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as he emerge victorious at the just concluded gubernatorial election in Kwara state.
“The deserving victory is a reflection of the collective resolve of majority of Kwarans that the current leadership of the State is governing in tandem with the people’s yearning and aspirations.
“We can only urge the Gov. AbdulRazaq to do more, as a token of appreciation of the Kwarans’ trust and confidence in him.
“As an experienced politician, it is my conviction that politics is not war but a contest of better ideas and solutions to bettering the lots of our people. I therefore urge the Governor to seize the opportunity of another 4years bestowed on him by Kwarans to deepen his pro-people agenda and strengthen our local democracy”, he said.
