Olododo congratulates 10th NASS, thanks Allah, family, supporters for successful tenure

Member representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the 9th National Assembly, Hon. (Dr) Abdulganiyu Saka Cook-Olododo has congratulated members of the 10th National Assembly, while wishing them a successful and impactful representation.

Olododo, in an appreciation text personally signed by him, said “All thanks are due to Almighty Allah, the Lord of the whole universe. It will be recalled that in June, 2019, I was inaugurated and sworn in as a member of the House of Representatives to represent the people of Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency of Kwara State.

“Meanwhile, following the valedictory  sitting of the 9th National Assembly last week and the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, on the 13th June, 2023, my tenure as member of the House of Representatives came to an end.

“May I, therefore use this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Almighty Allah who made my tenure successful and impactful. My sincere gratitude also goes to my family, both immediate and extended ones for their unflinching supports and understanding.

“My appreciation also goes to our community and religious leaders, party stakeholders and my teaming supporters whose words of advice and encouragement served as impetus that propelled me to strive harder to bring dividends of democracy to our people.

“I have no doubt in my mind that all the 23 wards constituting my constituency felt our impactful representation through facilitation of various projects ranging from construction of road, classrooms, solar boreholes, installation of transformers, solar street lights, youth empowerment to mention but few and championing of legislative course that has impacts on the lives of our people.

“I want to assure the people of my constituency, that notwithstanding the end of my tenure, they will continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy through many impactful projects and programs we have proposed and facilitated in the 2023 national budget once its implementation starts.

“Lastly, I congratulate the members of the 10th National Assembly particularly my successor in office upon their inauguration and I wish them a successful and impactful tenure”, he added.


Ibrahim Sheriff is the Editor of Fresh Insight and former Special Assistant on Media to the Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly. Although a management science researcher by training, he has over five years experience of practice in Journalism, Public Relations and Communication Strategy. Sheriff holds a Masters Degree in Finance and Bachelors Degree in Banking and Finance from Kwara state University, Malete. He has Certificates in Digital Journalism, Enterprise Creation and Skill Acquisition (ECSA) and Basic Econometrics Data Analysis, as well as Bank of Industry (BoI) Certificate in Business Management. He is also a holder of Diploma in Cooperative Studies from Kwara state Polytechnic, Ilorin.
