NGO Immortalizes Dr. Mike Omotosho, empowers 5 Students

No fewer than 5 students drawn from Kwara State University, Malete and University of Ilorin, benefited from the Mike Omotosho Students Empowerment Scheme, in Ilorin yesterday.

The benefiting Students includes; Damilare Ajose, Victorial Akangbe, Stephanie Zalzal, Ebunoluwa Kolawole all from the University of Ilorin, while Popoola inioluwa is a Student of the State owned Kwara State University, Malete.

Speaking on the motive behind the scheme, The founder and General Coordinator of the Mike Omotosho Students Empowerment Scheme (MOSES) Mrs. Titi Adedeji said “The student support scheme is geared towards immortalizing Dr. Mike Omotosho, the deceased Kwara born philanthropist, Businessman and Politician.

“Rather than mourn him, we’ll continue to celebrate Dr. Mike Omotosho, sustain his legacies and this is one of such activities we’ll be undertaking yearly and at intervals as the case maybe.

“I enjoin the beneficiaries to make good use of the Laptop, be focused and dedicated to their studies” she added.

Speaking in the same vein, the project coordinator Medase peters, said “We had hundreds of entries, all applicants pitched via a video which was posted on our social media platforms

“It’s been a worthwhile and a fulfilling journey working with The Corinth’s Humanitarian Foundation which has birthed a huge project – Mike Omotosho Student Empowerment Scheme in honor of a great icon, Late Dr Mike Omotosho.

“There has been series of outreach and honestly beyond the giving, this experience has brought a positive perspective of touching lives, the joy on people’s faces and the fulfillment goes a long way.

“I am using this privilege to congratulate the participants and the winners, I indulge you to make the best use of this aid and most importantly, be a good representative and ambassador of The Corinth’s Humanitarian Foundation and MOSES.

“Do not forget to also have a mindset to always help and give back to the society as this has helped you immensely” he added

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries Damilare Ajose who’s a graphics designer and student described the gesture as coming at a very important and crucial time for him as a Student and also a budding graphics artist.

He said “This Laptop will help enhance my work as a student and also a budding graphics artist. I pray God rest the soul of Dr. Mike Omotosho and also replenish the donors in multifold” he added.
