LG Elections: KWSIEC to begin Sensitization Tours

Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) has said it will commence sensitization tours across the sixteen (16) local government sensitisation of the state, starting this week.

In a statement by the Chairman of the Commission, Okanla Baba at the weekend, the commission said the tours would involve town hall meetings, consultations, and different sensitisation programmes with, and for various stakeholders.

“This is part of the sensitisation or preliminary programmes ahead of the local government election,” the statement said.

The commission said the timetable for the tours will be made available as the programme holds in phases.
