LG Election: Gov. AbdulRazaq congratulates winners

Kwara State, Nigeria – Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the newly elected 16 local government chairpersons and 193 councillors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their resounding victories in Saturday’s local government elections.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq attributed the APC’s sweeping win to the government’s impressive performance, the support of party members, and the strong relationships built with the people of Kwara State.

The Governor commended the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) and security agencies for conducting a peaceful and successful exercise. He expressed confidence that the insights gained from this election would improve future polls in the state and nationwide.

Governor AbdulRazaq also thanked Kwarans for their high turnout, support for the APC, and good conduct during the elections. He appreciated the sportsmanship and impressive participation of all political parties.

The APC’s landslide victory solidifies its dominance in Kwara State’s local politics, setting the stage for future elections.
