Kwara South group organizes special prayer for Saraki, Makanjuola

Kwara Southerners under the aegis of Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola for Senate – Kwara South Support Group, today, organized a special prayer for the former Senate President Bukola Saraki and former House of Representative member, Gbenga Makanjuola over the former’s Nigeria presidential and the latter’s Kwara South Senatorial ambitions.

The Group’s Convener, Alhaji Lateef Leto Lawal said the prayer, held at Amoyo in Ifelodun local government of Kwara state was necessary to seek Divine support of the Almighty God for the duo outstanding personalities whom they found worthy of 100% support.

Alhaji Lateef Yahyah who spoke on behalf of the Group after the prayer session said “Bukola Saraki is a leader with love of the youths at heart. As a Senate President, the role he played in the strengthening and sustainability of Nigeria democracy cannot be overemphasized, even in the face of turbulence.

We believe he has the capacity to address the array of challenges confronting the nation, from insecurity, poor economic state, infrastructural deficit among others.

The group also noted that Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola is a public servant with track record of excellent performance in public office.

According to another member of the group, Nurudeen Akeem (AKMAT) “As a representative, Hon. Makanjuola offered an all inclusive representation to the admiration of all and we are convinced he is capable of providing the kind of representation needed for the turnaround of Kwara South Senatorial District.

Notable politicians who graced the prayer session includes Hon. Saheed Yusuf – former Speaker of Ifelodun LG, Hon. Wasiu Odewale – former Commissioner for Planning and
Alh. Saka Oladimeji – former PDP Chairman of Ifelodun local government.
