Kwara Gov, Speaker mourn death of Oloro Oyelaran 1

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) joins the people of Oro Kingdom to mourn the sad passing of the Oloro of Oro Kingdom HRM Oba AbdulRafiu Olaniyi Ajiboye Oyelaran 1.

The monarch joined his ancestors in the early hours of Saturday.

The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaiye said the late monarch was a peacemaker, a father figure to all, and a man who was passionate about the development of his kingdom.

Governor AbdulRazaq said the Oloro will be missed for his forthrightness, his commitment to peace and unity, and his successes.

He prays to Almighty Allah to grant forgiveness and Al-jannah Firdaus to Oba AbdulRafiu, and to give the people of Oro Kingdom and his family the strength to carry on his fine legacies.

In a related development, Kwara state House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu described the death of Oba Oyelaran 1 as a great loss, praising the monarch for his invaluable contribution to the development of his people.

Eulogising the late monarch for his lifelong commitment to discipline, kindness, commitment to harmonious coexistence, the Speaker prays to God Almighty to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.

Speaker Danladi who commiserates with the people of Oro Kingdom also wishes the royal family and the people of Oro Kingdom divine comfort as they go through this trying period.
