My attention has just been drawn to a publication in your very prestigious medium OPERANEWS to the effect that I, Hon. Jide Asonibare, the kwara State ALGON Chairman has been appointed as the National Publicity Secretary of the Interim Management Committee of the National Association of Local Government of Nigeria ALGON constituted in Abuja at our last meeting.

Let me categorically say that I am totally loyal and committed to the able leadership of ALGON under our one and only National Chairman in the person of Hon. Alabi Kolade. My presence at the Abuja meeting was as a result of mis-information and intrigue. A move that has turned round as a negative political tool.
