The Igbomina Professionals Association (IPA) has commended the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the recent appointment of two of its members into his cabinet.
In a press statement signed by the Association’s President, Barrister Bayo Atoyebi and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Kunle Akogun, the Association described the appointment of the Association’s Secretary General, Mr. Bashiru Adigun as Special Adviser, Political Communication, and reappointment of Prof. Adekunle Dunmade, another prominent member of the Association, as Special Adviser on Health Matters, as “veritable round pegs in round holes”.
The statement said that the appointment of the two consummate professionals was well thought-out and a great asset to the government in it’s onerous task of taking Kwara State to the next level.
The IPA expressed the believe that the appointees will bring their vast professional experiences to bear on their new assignments, thereby boosting the overall rating of the AbdulRazaq administration.
While congratulating the appointees, the Igbomina Professionals urged them to be good ambassadors of the Association by continuing to hold aloft the well-known Igbomina virtues of hard work, self discipline, competence, fairness, and justice.
The IPA, therefore, wished Prof. Dunmade and Mr. Adigun divine guidance and Solomonic wisdom in the discharge of their duties.
