The Kwara State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu-Danladi and all Assembly members are presently locked in a closed door meeting with Hon. Raheem Agboola at the Assembly complex, Fresh Insight has gathered.

It would be recalled Fresh Insight had earlier reported the unusual heavy presence of security operatives at the premises and entrance of the complex.

Speaking with Fresh Insight on a condition of anonymity, an high ranking PDP member from Ilorin South local government who was among the multitude that accompanied Hon. Agboola to the Assembly earlier today to lay claim to his mandate as ordered by the court, confirmed that Hon. Agboola had been having series of meetings upon his arrival at the Assembly complex this morning.

The source said “Hon. Agboola had a more than 1 hour closed door engagement with the clerk of the House, Hajia Kperogi earlier in the day, wherein he submitted his certificate of return and other necessary documents, including in Asset declaration which he had already completed prior to today.

” As I speak with you, he’s locked in another meeting with the Hon. Speaker and other members of the House, we’re waiting outside peacefully awaiting the outcome of the meeting” he stressed.
