The award which was bestowed on her by Kogi Youth Concern and Association of Kogi Youth Emancipation, bestowed a merit award of meritorious service and Award of Quality services respectively.
The group at the award presentation commended her services to the good people of Kogi State, when she held sway as the General Manager Kogi Electricity Company (Kogi region) appreciating among other things her customer relation skills and open door policy, almost 2 years ago.
Both groups however bemoaned the drop in quality services of the company after her exit, complaining bitterly about the drop in electricity supply in the region.
Hajia Oniye who was visibly surprised, appreciated the 2 organisations for finding her worthy, stressing that she’s always given her best anywhere she found herself, while always ensuring she operates with human feelings and respect for all and sundry.
