I’ll focus on bills, motions that will make education affordable, qualitative: Saliu Mustapha

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate in the coming general elections, Mall. Saliu Mustapha has promised to make education affordable and conducive in all institutions across the state if elected.

The Turaki of Ilorin made this promise on Wednesday while playing host to over 500 student leaders at his Ilorin.

The Senatorial Candidate of the ruling APC in Kwara Central said if he emerges, school buses will be provided to the students Union of all institutions in the state for easy transportation for the students.

Turaki also said he would look into bills and motions that will aid the reduction of tuition fees to make education affordable for parents

He also added that consultation like this will come up once in a while, for him to know where the shoe pinches.

“In Sha Allah when we get there, the first thing we will do is to provide school bus for the student Union, We must make sure we do everything we can, for things to e easier for you, giving you conducive environment, we have done it for the labour union and some other associations, so why won’t we provide for the students who need it more, for a guaranteed future. we need your support and prayer for us to get there,” he said

“Whatever we can do to make sure schools fees is affordable, for parents In Sha Allah we will do it. On that note I will appeal to you to make us proud, and be a good ambassador,” he added.

For their part, the student leaders pledged their unflinching support to Saliu Mustapha, showering him with encomium and attesting to the meaningful impacts he has made in the educational sector and beyond.

“Having acknowledged that you have done well in educational sector, With your pour heart to Nigerians, you will surely emerge victorious, We urge you not to stop your philanthropic act,” one of the student representatives said.
