Encomiums have continued to trail the Hon. Femi Yusuf led Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State, over the ongoing palliative works on the ever busy Igbaja/Oke-Ode road, which had been in deplorable State in recent times.

Speaking with exclusively with Hon. Femi Yusuf, he said “That stretch from Ajase junction to Oke-Ode and beyond is a priority road in our local government, it has suffered long years of neglect and that accounts for the deplorable state it is today.

“Thank God, our leader and Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is a lover of Ifelodun, he’s shown premium interest in bringing lasting succour to our people.

“We’ve seen the total rehabilitation of a portion of the road and it’s now an enjoyable journey from Ajase to Igbaja, while the remaining stretch is getting the required attention and massive rehabilitation is in the offing.

“However, while anticipating the total rehabilitation, on our part at the local government, we’ve embarked on this palliative to make it atleast more motorable in the interim, pending when a lasting solution being planned by the State government arrives.

“Also, we ain’t taking any chances with the security of lives and properties, during this festive period and beyond, therefore making the road modestly motorable is a necessity.
