Igbaja APC pledges unflinching loyalty to Gov. Abdulrazaq, Gbenga Power

The Executives of the All progressive Congress, Igbaja Ward 1 under the leadership of Alh Raheem Arije has extended their utmost gratitude and appreciation to the Leadership of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for standing by Justice which is the bastion of our party.

This much was contained in a press release made available to newsmen in Ilorin today.

The release reads “The party Executives are using this medium to appreciate the Indefatigable Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power for his outstanding generosity in donating a standard and well furnished party secretariat(Office Tables and Chairs, Computer system, Conference room, Television Set and Cable TV subscription, Photocopier and printing materials) to further strengthen the party’s presence and operations within the Igbaja ward I and Ifelodun Local Government Area at large.

“It is important to state that, Hon. Gbenga Oyekunle initially supported the Ward with the old secretariat by acquiring and paying for the rent of the old space. In his wisdom and the Grace of God, he has thought it wise to support the ward with a more befitting and standard Office that befits the status of Igbaja Ward 1. For this, we are very grateful.

“Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power is a prominent philanthropist and esteemed member of our great party, he has consistently shown his dedication and commitment to the progress and development of our party and community in Igbaja and Ifelodun at large. His remarkable contribution of a fully equipped party secretariat underscores his unwavering support for the ideals and principles of the APC.

“It is good to note that, the new party secretariat which was handed over to the State Leadership of the party, provides the Ifelodun APC with a robust administrative hub that will enhance the party’s activities, coordination, and engagement with party members and the ward at large. This facility will serve as a vital space for strategic planning, meetings, and mobilization efforts, ultimately strengthening the party’s ability to effect positive change and serve the interests of the people.

“Going forward, we want to sincerely thank the Elese of Igbaja for his blessings and prayers, we do want to promise him that we will not let our guards down while defending the interest of Igbaja at all fronts. It is also imperative to thank all the leaders and stakeholders in our ward for their unwavering support and show of camaraderie while the assault and bastardisation on the Constitution of our party held sway by few persons who never loved our party and yet were benefitting from the gains of the party while also denying Indigenes of Igbaja of their entitlements.

“As the Executives of the party at the ward level, we are extending olive branches to the few members of our party that nearly ran the party at the ward level down and do enjoin them to come back to the fold. The party in its wisdom has decided to hold forth on necessary disciplinary measures against the member that withheld all the necessary logistics and support for the 13 polling units in Igbaja ward 1 during the Presidential and Gubernatorial elections. This is including certain members that sold slots meant for Igbaja sons and daughters while unfortunately extending such shame to Agunjin ward by selling the Job slot for that ward- This is travesty but then, we are stronger and formidable as one” he added
