Hon. Teju, House of Reps aspirant resigns SDP membership

An Aspirant for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun federal constituency under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Hon. Teju Olohungbebe has resigned his membership of his party in Kwara State, citing personal reasons.

According to his resignation letter cited by Fresh Insight, the letter reads “I humbly write to inform you of my resignation as a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

My decision is primarily as a result of my personal conviction. I appreciate the leadership of the party for the wonderful moments we have shared. I wish your party good luck” it reads.

When Fresh Insight contacted Hon. Olohungbebe for his rationale for leaving the party and his next political move, numerous called made to his mobile phone were unanswered nor text messages responded to as at the time of filing this report.

However, his side Comr. When contacted confirmed the resignation of Hon. Olohungbebe, his supporters, structures and the entirety of the Oju-ilu political family.

“We’ve all left the SDP officially, we’re however still consulting on our next line of action” he said.
