A male patient, 27, Bernard Coker, currently on sick bed at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Oke Oyi has cried out for assistance fro good spirited members of the public to facilitate a surgery on him.
Bernard, who has been suffering from Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) is said to be on blood transfusion, medication and other supportive care since June 2016.
According to a supportive letter of assistance written in favour of the patient on sick bed no 627288, signed by the consultant Hematologist, Dr. A. O. Shittu, “He recently became progressively resistant to the medication and consequent worsening of his clinical condition.”
He therefore desires to seek bone marrow transplant in an advanced cancer care centre outside the country and the amount estimated for the transplant is about twenty million only.
Bernard is the first son of popular Ilorin based Artist, CK, who said that he has spent all his life investment struggling to save the life of his first son.
As the patient needs assistance from members of the public, members of the public who wishes to render assistance should contact the father of the patient Mr Coker on 08033117958 or Dr. A. O. Shittu of the Hematology department, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
Please, Bernard must not die.
