Eid-al-Adha: ASKOMP Sues For Peaceful Celebrations, congratulates Ilorin Emirate Durbar Committee

The Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) on Saturday felicitated with Kwarans, Nigerians and entire Muslim community across the globe on the auspicious occasion of Eid-al-Adha.

In the association Eid message, the ASKOMP Chairman and Publisher of Informant247, Shola Salihu Taofeek urged people to remember the poor and destitute by taking care of their needs which marks the very altruistic essence of this festival of inclusiveness.

“Eid is a day when smiles ought to be spread and joys to be shared with the less privileged sections of our society. This is a day when Muslims should thank Almighty Allah for innumerable blessings & imbibe the real message of sacrifice & selflessness in our daily lives,” the Chairman said.

He also prayed for the well-being of all while hoping that the festival of Eid shall usher in an era of peace and stability in Kwara State and Nigeria.

Furthermore, the Chairman also Congratulates the ILORIN Emirate Council and the ILORIN Durbar Planning Committee ahead of the anticipated ILORIN Durbar Festival, while urging the general public to act responsibly during the cause of celebrations and maintain peaceful co-existence.

“Maintaining peace and order on this special occasion is everyone’s duty and thus I request the people to cooperate with all concerned body and security agency that have been dispatched to carryout there duties. Let’s celebrate this Eid with a pledge that we will positively contribute in keeping Kwara State peaceful and safe always” He said
