Confusion, as Gov. AbdulRazaq appoints 2 Chairmen for Kwara Signage Agency

By Ibrahim Sheriff (Gold)

Confusion is trailing the appointment of 2 different persons as board Chairman for the Kwara Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency ((KWASAA), by Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Fresh Insight can report.

It would be recalled, Gov. AbdulRazaq had, on February 6, 2021, via a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaiye announced Engineer Taiye Hassan as the Chairman of the Agency, with Kamaldeen Oleshin; Mahmud Abdullahi Buko; Comfort Aweda and Hafsat Mobolohunduro as members.

6 months after, without any official release announcing the withdrawal of the earlier appointment, Gov. AbdulRazaq via another statement by the Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaiye, announced the appointment of Alhaji Usman Abubakar Mora (FCAI) as the Chairman of KWASAA board, with Kamaldeen Olesin; Hafsat Mobolorunduro; Comfort Awede; and Muhammed Abdullahi as members.

Attempts to get government reaction proved abortive as at the time of filing this report as messages sent to the Spokesperson of the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye were unanswered as at the time of filing this report.
