Comr. Odunjo donates laboratory kits to Obbo-ile Community High School

Ekiti Kwara born Student Activitist turned politician, Odunjo Adio aka Orlando yesterday donated mobile laboratory kits worth #500,000 to the Yemisi-Principal,Community Comprehensive High School Obbo-Ile, yesterday.
Odunjo who made the donation while on a physical assessment and tour of the School facilities, enjoined the students to never be down casted by the fact that they’re schooling in the rural areas, emphasising that available records has proven that no fewer than 70% of Nigeria’s past and present leaders all schooled in rural areas.
“I am here to identify with you and encourage you all to rather than see your schooling in the rural area as a disadvantage, see it as the needed push to conquer the world and bring pride to your alma mata.
“The donation of this laboratory kit is just a token from me, I know the importance of laboratory kits on science subjects and the importance of sciences to the world of today” he added.
Appreciating the donor on behalf community, the Owalobo of Obbo-ile kingdom Oba Rufus Olusegun Adebayo, Akamo-Ekun 1, expressed elation with the donation, stressing that the he’s personally expended his resources to give the school a facelift, adding that for the lost glory of government owned schools must be restored if we must attain our developmental desires.
“Nigeria is made up of more than 80% rural communities, if the developmental desires of the Country must be achieved, then we must start paying more attention to rural education by making available competitive infrastructure and human resources.
In the same vein, the Headmistress of the Senior section of the School Onih Bukola prayed for God’s continued upliftment for the donor, promising that the school would make utmost use of the equipment.
