By Abdulrasheed Akogun

A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and now a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress has kicked against the anti-BOB posture leader of the APC in the State, Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over the resolution of the the APC’s National Executive Council of the party.
It would be recalled the NEC of the party had at its last NEC meeting on Tuesday, ordered the desolution of the Bashir Bolarinwa led State Executive Committee of the party and immediate appointing them in caretaker committee for a period of 6 months.
In a press conference addressed by Chief Iyiola Oyedepo Akogun, which was witnessed by Prof. Abdulraheem Oba and several other party Chieftains at the GRA party State secretariat office of the party, bemoaned the scheming of the Governor towards BOB isn’t sworn
Akogun said “Gov. Abdulrazaq went to Abuja to submit another name to the National Working Committee of the Party (NWC) as against the knowledge of the entirety of the party which had aligned with the BOB led executives to continue as the caretaker committee.
“The APC is known for its progressive stands, we are not robot, no attempt to impose unknown quantities on the party in the State will stand, what the Governor have done is unacceptable to majority of the party executives and members, thereby we won’t sit down and watch us return to the Bukola Saraki dictatorship era which Kwara resoundingly said Otoge to.
“The Bolarinwa led exco has been duly recognised and affirmed by the Supreme Court which is the apex Court in land and all we demand is application of the same yardstick as applied in Oyo, Yobe, Sokoto, Oyo etc.
“If the party is strong and remains vibrant, it’ll remain a vehicle for today’s aspirations and that of tomorrow and thus we must protect the sanctity and integrity of the party” he stressed.
