The Chairman and Pro-Chancellor, Mallam Habidu Yazid Rafindadi, OON is dead, Fresh Insight can authoritatively report.

The demise of the Katsina born former Secretary to the Government and Head of Service to the old Kaduna State is coming barely 2weeks after he announced the outcome of the selection process of new Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin.

Source from Abuja said Rafindadi died after a very brief illness.

He replaced Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Prof Ibrahim Gambari as the Board Chairman of Savannah Centre before his appointment as the Governing Board Chairman and Pro-Chancellor of the Better by Far University in 2021.
