The mother of a member of the House of Representatives member representing Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa federal constituency of Kwara State, Hon. Tijjani Ismail has been kidnapped.

According to an impeccable family source, the mother was kidnapped in Kogi State, he State of birth and residence earlier today.

The source said “Kidnappers kidnapped the mother of Hon. Tijjani earlier today in Kogi State, they’ve since established contact with the family by demanding #60m ransom.

“The family have informed the governors of Kogi and Kwara State and we’re hopeful she’ll be released unhurt soon” the source added.

All attempts at getting confirmation from Hon. Tijjani proved abortive as at the time of filing this report as numerous calls put across to him were unanswered.
