Information reaching Fresh Insight has it that the appointment of the Director General Bureau of Lands, Mr. Bolaji Edun has been terminated by the Governor.

This much was disclosed to Fresh Insight by multiple highly placed government sources.

It would be recalled Edun was appointed barely a year ago, taking over from his predecessor Ibrahim Salman.

“He was sacked today and immediately replaced by a permanent secretary named Mr. Abdullah Bolakale Yusuf from Ilorin South local government” the source confirmed.

Numerous calls and text message sent to the Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye were unanswered as at the time of filing this report.
