Organizers of Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship Programme have announced the opening of application for the second cohort of the programme.
The information was contained In a statement signed by the Programme’s Executive Assistant, Banke Ajede released in Abuja on Tuesday.
She noted that the programme has become Nigeria’s flagship mentorship and youth engagement platform, considering its structure and coordination.
The statement reads “The Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship Programme (BAMP) is now accepting applications into the second cohort of the mentorship programme. Application is open to all young Nigerians between the ages of 18 – 35 from any part of the world”
“Applicants are expected to send a one-page statement of intent and CV as attachments to bolajiabdullahimp@gmail.com. The one-page statement of intent should be in PDF format and must be clear and concise. Applicants who make it beyond the first stage will be contacted for the next stage of application.” She added
She stressed that “The first stage of application closes on Friday, January 15, 2021, while also adding that the programme will be expanding the number of admissible fellows from the current 12 to 24.”
Successful applicants will also be prepared for a bootcamp to signify the commencement of the programme.
The Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship Programme is a 6-month organized and structured platform for young people to learn, engage and share from the knowledge, experience and deep insight of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi and other notable Nigerians who share Bolaji Abdullahi’s belief that development thrust must be anchored on young people as the driver and key architect.
For this reason, he has committed to raising a new generation of thought leaders, problem solvers and change maker, by providing mentorship guide and support as they continue in their journey towards a life of impact.
Since the programme started, renowned Nigerian citizens who have been invited to speak with fellows at the programme include: Akintunde Oyebode, Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, Ekiti State; Chude Jideonwo, Nigerian Lawyer, Journalist and Media Entrepreneur; Ishaya Bako, filmmaker and movie director; Cheta Nwanze, Lead Partner SBM Intelligence; Chinenye Monde-Anumihe, development partnerships strategist among others
