Stakeholders of Kwara South Senatorial District of Kwara State have thrown its weight behind the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, stressing that both men can be rest assured of Kwara South’s unalloyed loyalty and support.

The group under the aegis of Kwara South Traditional Rulers and Leaders of Thought made this disclosure via a press conference, which held in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, yesterday.

The group while commending the President for finding numerous sons of the District worthy of juicy appointments, also commended the supportive role of the State Governor, in ensuring Kwara Southerners are prominently fixed at the national.

The press release signed by Chief (Dr.)J. B Ayeni and Prof. Abiodun Afolayan the group’s Chairman and Secretary General respectively reads “We on behalf of Kwara South Traditional Rulers and Leaders of Thought hereby appreciate our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his sense of equity, fairness and justice in making key appointments into public offices in the Country.

“There is no gainsaying that the appointments made so far took cognisance of the federal character principles. The President’s political clairvoyance and sagacity, rare qualities, always guide him in discovering and hunting for talents.

“It is gratifying to note that we in Kwara South are benefitting in an unprecedented way from the fair and equitable distribution of appointments across the Country. The appointments of our children into various offices has rekindled our sense of belonging in the Nigerian project.

“We extend our profound gratitude to Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his contributions to facilitating these appointments and also attracting federal presence to our Senatorial District.

“Like Oliver twist, we can day with humility that there are still scores of A-list cross sectoral professionals who are still available to contribute to the development of the State abd Nation, in whatever capacity they’re deemed fit” it added.
