APC Loses Youth Leader to ADC in ‘Best Lawmaker’’s Ward

The Youth Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Share ward 3, Ifelodun local government, Yakub Adebayo has defected to the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC), Fresh Insight has gathered.

The youth leader who dumped the party is from the ward of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s best performing lawmaker, Razaq Olatunde Owolabi, who the Governor rated high among Kwara legislators for distributing motorcycles and grinding machines to his constituents.

His defection came barely two (2) weeks, after a top aide of the Governor, Comr. Musbau Esinrogunjo resigned from the APC to join the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Fresh Insight gathered that the defection rocking the APC in Ifelodun local government is not unconnected with the pullout of a former Kwara South Senator and former ally of Gov. AbdulRazaq – Makanjuola Ajadi who is currently against the Governor’s re-election bid.
