Ajileye, Oke-Ode Born Media Guru Bags Appointment

 

A Humanitarian Organization in USA, World Humanitarian Support Foundation has appointed one of the renowned broadcasters in Kwara State, Chief Olusegun Ajileye as it’s Media and Communications Manager.

 

This was contained in a statement released by the organisation’s international president, Engineer Olalekan Okunola after the end of the year virtual meeting held on the 23rd of December, 2023.

 

The statement notes that following the immense and unrelenting contributions of Chief Ajileye to the organization in all ramifications, it however deemed it fit to honor him through what he finds joy doing everyday.

 

According to Engineer Olalekan Okunola, “We will never forget our beginnings. We are still standing stronger every day. We have come a long way together, impacting and putting smiles on people’s faces. Thank you for your service to humanity”

 

Chief Olusegun Ajileye, who is the current Media and Communications manager will be working directly with other board of directors home and abroad.

 

Chief Ajileye, popularly known as Okodoro Oro, Efura among other nicknames has worked diligently in so many capacities in the media industry with over two decades experience as Newscaster (both in Yoruba and English languages) broadcast journalist, instructor, media consultant and other media related services.

 

He has used his wealth of knowledge and experience to serve humanity with other media organizations such as Radio Nigeria Harmony fm Idofian, Kwara State as a Newscaster, Duty Continuity Announcer, Studio Manager, Producer, Presenter, instructor, among other roles.

 

He was once a station manager at Igbomina Radio, a community radio station based in Pamo-Isin, Kwara State where he discovered and trained many talented broadcasters.

 

He is one the media consultants that tested Offa Polytechnic campus radio in 2005, Kwara Polytechnic campus radio in 2022.

 

The media monster (Iwin) has he is fondly called, currently owns an online advocacy radio station, SAM RADIO, as the voice to the voiceless.

 

Apart from numerous honor to his feather, the Osolo of Oke-Ode land was recently honored by the Leprosy Mission Nigeria for his immense contribution to humanity in the areas of disability inclusion, gender equality and well-being of the people with disabilities among others.
