Ajakaiye remanded for allegedly defiling minor in Ilorin

An Ilorin Magistrate court had ordered the remand of one Afeez Ajakaiye for allegedly defiling a six years old girl in Ilorin, Kwara State.

According to Police Report, one Yahaya Issah reported at C-Divisional Police Headquarters, Oja-Oba that he received a phone call from his wife, claiming the defendant (Ajakaiye) has raped his six years old daughter.

Police report further disclosed that Issah met his daughter with clothes soaked in blood and blood was coming out of her private organ when he got home.

Investigation conducted at Juvenile Welfare Center/Gender/Child protection unit, disclosed that the defendant who is 16years old, deceived the victim into his room and raped her under the pretense of buying her sweet.

The prosecutor revealed that the doctor’s report also revealed that deep tear and laceration was inflicted on the victims private organ as a result of forceful entry of the defendant manhood.

The Police prosecutor prayed the court for the remand of Ajakaiye saying it would act as deterrent for those that may want to indulge in the shameful act.

The presiding Magistrate Adams Muhammed, accede to the request of the police prosecution ordered Ajakaiye’s remand in correctional facilities.
