The constituency office of Member representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. (Dr) Abdulganiyu Saka Cook-Olododo will on Thursday, commission newly constructed road and classrooms in various wards of Ilorin East and South local government.
According to a statement signed by his Legislative Aide, Kamardeen Aderibigbe, the projects to be commissioned by the lawmaker tomorrow includes a block of three (3) classrooms with furnitures at Sobi-Alagbado Senior Secondary School, Alagbado, a block of two classrooms at Alimayaki Primary school, Akerebiata in Ilorin East and the newly constructed Ansarul-Islam Oke-Aluko Road in Okaka II, Ilorin South local government, which were all facilitated by the lawmaker.
The events, which are expected to hold at the various venues of the respective projects are bid to come up between 11am and 12pm on Thursday, 4th May, 2023.
It can be recalled that the lawmaker also commissioned and handed over a police station and quarters to house police officer, facilitated by him in Ilorin East to the Nigeria Police last Wednesday.
While the road project is expected to ease movement of the people and enhance socioeconomic development in the area, the school projects will further bridge the infrastructure gap in our educational system, which has been a bane of quality education in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
