AbdulRazaq’s ex-aide set to dump APC

A former cabinet member of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state is set to dump the All Progressive Congress, Fresh Insight can authoritatively report.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity, the former Commissioner is planning to defect to the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state, on Thursday, 24th February, 2022.

The Governor’s former aide was said to have fallout with the Governor for raising alarm over alleged financial misappropriation in the AbdulRazaq’s government, which led to the displacement of the appointee and consequent resignation from office.

Recall, Gov. AbdulRazaq also recently seek approval of the Kwara state House of Assembly to sack the State Auditor General for exposing some government Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) that spent public funds without receipts.
