Abandoned newborn found under Ilorin bridge

A new born baby was found abandoned under Oke-Foma bridge, Ita-Nma area of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Our Staff Reporter who was at the scene of the incident reports that the new baby was dropped by unidentified person in the early hours of today.

Our Correspondent gathered that the abandoned new baby was bathed and fully kitted before being dropped under bridge, it is however yet to be ascertained whether the bay is dead or alive at the time of filing this report

Huge crowd converged at the spot of the incident, wondering why a new born baby could be dropped at unhygienic place under Oke-Foma Bridge

The baby was however, evacuated by officers and men of Nigeria Police, around 12:10pm, today.
