Similarly, the Baruten Traditional Council is organizing a prayer session for the governments of Nigeria and Kwara State, seeking divine guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the realization of a power shift to Kwara North in 2027.

The prayer sessions are scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the Kaiama Central Mosque and the Baruten Local Government secretariat, starting at 8 am and 10 am, respectively.

This development follows a recent special prayer organized by the Emir of Patigi Emirate, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Umar Bologi II, in honor of President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq, with a commitment to actualizing the Kwara North Governorship Agenda in 2027.

The movement for a power shift to Kwara North has been gaining traction, with proponents arguing that it is essential for promoting equity, justice, and fairness in the state’s governance.
