The Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) has disowned the election results released for Oju Ekun Sarumi Ward, citing irregularities.
In a statement, KWSIEC declared the purported results invalid, stating that the individual who announced the results lacked authority.
“The person who released the results is not a recognized returning officer for KWSIEC,” the commission said. “Therefore, the public should disregard the said results.”
KWSIEC assured that official results will be announced through authorized channels, urging citizens to remain calm and disregard unverified information on social media.
