37yr-old Taraba Reps-elect dies

A member-elect for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal constituency in the federal house representatives, Taraba State, Ismaila Yushau Maihanci has passed on.

Maihanci died early Saturday morning and his janaza (funeral prayer) will hold today at the National Mosque in Abuja after noon prayers.

The October 22, 1986 born politician and businessman was elected in the just held general elections under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Before his election also, he has served as a Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku. He had also served as the Secretary of PDP in Taraba State.

He is survived by a wife Fatiha Sangari and a son.
