No fewer than 350 households have benefited from the annual Ramadan package of a businessman turned Politician Hon. Haruna Muhammed through his foundation “Haruna Likpata Foundation” in Kwara State.

Hon. Haruna, is a Human Physiology graduate of University of Ilorin who also holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Project Managememt from Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja

It would be recalled, Hon. Haruna was the Peoples Democratic Party’s House of Assembly Candidate, for Edu local government area of Kwara State in the 2019 general elections.

Speaking with newsmen on the modalities for the beneficiaries selection, Likpata said “Before and after the last election exercise, I’ve consistently identified with my people across party divides.

“As a proud son of the soil, the last election has even made me more dedicated to helping the needy in my local government and indeed the entirety of the Kwara North Senatorial district in my own little way.

“The afflictions our people are facing doesn’t give a damn about religious or political differences and that’s why I have never allowed any artificial differences guide me in the selection of beneficiaries for my various interventions under the coordination of my NGO.

“The distribution of this items are being strictly monitored by the foundation’s ward Coordinators and this is geared towards ensuring that the materials get to targeted individuals” he added.
