Two (2) months after it was embroiled in fund diversion to the tune of over N2.2m, the Coalition of Kwara APC Youth Stakeholders (CKAYS) has cried out over alleged abandonment of the group by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The group in April was divided over misappropriation of over N2.2m mobilized by the CKAYS from AbdulRazaq’s appointees and supporters, to sponsor AbdulRazaq’s second term campaign project tagged I sign for AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq again (ISFAA), which led to suspension of some of its leaders.
After the scandal however, the group seem to have missed the patronage of the Governor, as it cries out over abandonment by AbdulRazaq.
According to Just Events Online report, the Coordinators of various Kwara State Youth Groups under the aegis of CKAYS yesterday (Thursday) alleged that Gov. AbdulRazaq has neglected and abandoned them
A communique signed by the executives of the association reads “We want to show our displeasure over the action of the leadership of our party APC and Kwara Gov towards us despite our enormous contribution to the success and stability of the party in the state and our unflinching support for the government of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.”
The executive members that signed the communique includes the acting state coordinator – Mahmud Ahmed, Jimoh Idris (blinker) – secretary, Abdulrahim Babaita – Kwara central coordinator, Ahmed Muhammed – Kwara north coordinator and Wasiu Abioye – Kwara south coordinator.
