In commemoration of 100 days in office of the sixteen (16) Local Government Chairmen in Kwara state, the Development Officers for the Local Government Areas have has congratulate the Chairmen on their progress, praising their decisive steps towards repositioning the LGAs for future prosperity.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the Development Officers, Hon. Haruna Likpata, the group commended the Chairmen for their achievements, which they said have demonstrated their preparedness to serve the people.
“We are delighted to congratulate our Honorable Chairmen on their 100 days in office,” Hon. Likpata said. “Their achievements have proven that they are committed to serving the people and bringing development closer to the grassroots.”
The Development Officers noted that the Chairmen’s accomplishments are in line with the vision of the Executive Governor of Kwara State to bring development closer to the people and deliver on democratic dividends.
“We are impressed with the progress made so far by our Chairmen,” Hon. Likpata said. “Their efforts are a testament to the Governor’s vision for the state, and we are confident that they will continue to deliver on their promises.”
The Development Officers emphasized the importance of quality leadership in achieving prosperity, saying that no society can prosper without effective leadership.
“No society can be on the path of prosperity without quality leadership to carry everyone along,” Hon. Likpata said. “We are committed to supporting our Chairmen in their efforts to bring development to our people.”
As part of their advisory role, the Development Officers pledged to continue supporting the Councils in prioritizing the needs of the people, advancing policies and programs, and keying into the Governor’s vision for the state.
“We will continue to advise the Councils on how to prioritize the needs of our people, advance policies and programs that benefit our communities, and support the Governor’s vision for the state,” Hon. Likpata said.
